Eric Sandberg has been a member of the Board of Directors since the house first opened its doors in 1996.  He has been actively engaged in fund raising efforts for the house since 1987. 

Eric’s long standing involvement in the charity first began as an employee with the McDonald’s Corporation after he graduated from Illinois State University in 1980 with a B.S. in psychology.  In 1987 when Eric accepted a job with the Martin-Brower Company, a McDonald’s distributor in South Florida, it wasn’t long before he became involved with the Ft. Myers chapter.

Eric and his wife Debbie live in Boca Raton on the east coast which makes for a bit of a long distance commute for meetings and events.  His strong belief in the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities makes it all worthwhile.
