Ronald McDonald House Charities Grants Program
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida is suspending grant applications at this time. All qualifying grant requests submitted through August 31 will be considered for 1st Quarter 2012.
The national body of Ronald McDonald House Charities® and its global network of local charities has awarded hundreds of millions of dollars in grants to organizations supporting children worldwide. Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southwest Florida provides grants to qualified charities providing service to children throughout our local service area. We are committed to funding solutions that address serious children's issues. Wherever there is a need, big or small, Ronald McDonald House Charities is ready to meet it head on.
Achieving our agenda for children — helping to ensure strong minds, strong bodies and safe, supportive places to grow — is possible only with the support of individual donors and corporate partners. In addition to operating our “home-away-from-home,” and Care Mobile® Program, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida also provides grant opportunities to other non-profit organizations whose programs meet the needs of our local children.
Some examples of our recent grants include: A specialized wheelchair, supplies for a Children’s Therapy Room, educational materials for an “American English for Communication” Program, computers for an after school homework program, exercise equipment for at risk youth and beds for children placed in temporary foster homes.
Grant reviews are held on a quarterly basis throughout the year.
